About opsteamAI

We did it to ourselves first.

We didn't theorise about intelligent automation. We re-engineered our own organisation — every workflow, every platform, from the ground up. That experience is what we bring to every engagement.

Our Story

From enterprise operations to intelligent automation

We are a 120-person, fully remote team operating across five regions. We purpose-built every enterprise platform we run on — work management, ERP, community, contract management, CRM, calendar bookings, and beyond. Not because we sell platforms, but because we needed to solve our own operational complexity.

That process taught us something the market is still learning: AI doesn't transform operations by being layered on top. It transforms them when you critically review your workflows, embed automation engineers inside them, and incrementally re-engineer toward intelligent automation — codifying predictable logic into applications, and letting AI handle creative judgment.

That's not a framework we read about. It's how we work every day. And it's why we see the gap between what AI companies promise and what enterprises actually need.

Our Perspective

What we see differently

The technology works. The workflows don't.

88% of organisations use AI. Only 6% capture meaningful value. The difference isn't the model or the vendor — it's whether the underlying work was re-engineered for AI, or AI was bolted onto broken processes.

AI companies sell hammers. Enterprises need houses.

Most AI vendors do AI only — they don't touch your processes, they don't manage the change, and they leave when the project ends. Real operational value requires re-engineering the work, building the technology, and then staying to operate it.

Incremental delivery beats grand plans.

We don't believe in 12-month transformation programmes. We start with one workflow, prove value in weeks, and expand from there. Every step delivers measurable outcomes, not promises.

Production AI needs operational engineering, not just data science.

AI in production requires deterministic application wrappers, governance, exception handling, audit trails, and continuous tuning. It's operational engineering — and it's what most AI implementations are missing.
